Furthermore, this blog is not about providing free music like many of the mpfree blogs et cetera. Rather, this blog is more in line of providing one another with digital mixtapes and the opportunity to hear albums in a manner that allows one to explore this music called jazz without the legality issues of distributing single song mp3s.
In the end, I’ll have a couple things up every week like album spotlights (listening sessions), reviews (listening notes), mixtapes, and things found on the web including videos, et cetera. If you dig it, hopefully you will pursue the album or artist. Other randomness may show up occasionally as well.
Support the artists by seeing them live and/or purchasing their music!
Music provided here is for promotional purposes only. Furthermore, this is an artist supported blog. Every living artist is contacted concerning content here. If for some reason, you as an artist would not like your music featured, simply email me and we will remove your feature. It is our hope however, that in this ever expanding digital realm of (hopefully) DRM free music, you will embrace whatever opportunities you have to introduce the general public to your sound.

Voted for Berne. I suppose I should listen to some of the Chu Berry before voting, but ....
On the Corner is pretty impressive, too.
